By default, all emails are sent by:
sender name = RandomCoffee
sender email = "juliette@random-coffee.com"
By adding your own domain, you will be able to define the "from" (and therefore the same "reply-to") address and name for your program.
At this stage, make sure you have the permission needed to configure your custom domain. You need to have access to your domain DNS settings. Don't hesitate to get in touch with your IT colleagues to perform the following steps.
Open the "Settings" panel, and access the "Sending Domains" section.
Click "Add Sending Domain", and enter the name of your domain, then click "OK".
You can add a domain or a sub-domain.
Your domain name will appear in the screen, with an "Unverified" tag.
You can "Print" the required configuration and send it to your IT team, if you do not have access to your domain DNS settings. To do this, click "Actions", then "Print".
Expand the "Domain Settings" view.
In parallel, access your domain's DNS settings from your account at your domain provider. (e.g., IONOS, Hostinger, LWS... ).
Add DNS records in your domain account by copying and pasting the data transmitted by RandomCoffee in the "Authentication" and "Link Tracking" tabs.
In the "From Addresses" tab, add as many email adresses as you want. They will be used as your "from" and "reply-to" addresses for your programs. Once done, click "Save".
In the "Mail Servers" tab, choose whether you want to use a Shared IP Pool (by default), or get a dedicated IP. For this second option, get in touch with our team!
Once done, click "Verify" in the Actions menu. Your domain is now verified:
When customizing your opt-in / match emails, you can select your preferred sender in the "From" field.
As a result, members will receive emails from your sender name, with your own sender email.
