This settings is not applied if Single Sign-On is active on your workspace.
Open the Settings, select Configuration, and click on the "Password Reset Policy" card.
By default, we never ask members to update their password:
Select the password expiration delay in the dropdown list (30 - 60 - 90 - 120 days), and click Save.
Confirm your choice.
Be prepared for the immediate effect of this setting when activated. If you, as the admin, are affected, youβll need to reset your password right away to continue managing the system.
Any user who has not updated their password within the set timeframe will be forced to update their password at their next login.
If a user is logged into the application at the time the option is activated, on page refresh, they will be automatically redirected to the password reset modal. They must update their password to regain access to the application.
If you, as an Admin, activate this option and your own password falls within the criteria for a required update, you will also be immediately redirected to the password reset modal. This happens as soon as the page refreshes or if any action triggers a refresh within the app.
If possible, communicate the upcoming change to users before enabling this option, to minimize disruption.
Activate this feature during off-peak hours to reduce impact on users who are logged into their Member Portal.
